Maple Glazed Carrots Recipe
- Colorful carrots get a sweet and spicy twist with regional spices and our organic maple syrup. A perfect addition to any dinner table.
Ingredients
- 2 bunches rainbow carrots, peeled and quartered lengthwise
- 1/2 cup Grade A Amber Color, Rich Taste Syrup
- 1 stick salted butter
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp toasted cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbs cilantro, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, add butter.
- Whisk in maple syrup, coriander, garlic powder, cayenne and water.
- Bring to a boil and reduce by half.
- Arrange carrots on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Coat the carrots with the glaze and roast for 40 minutes.
